Valencia Could Sue Lazio
08/09/2003. It has emerged that Valencia could take legal action as they
bid to recover the cash that Lazio still owe them for the purchase of Gaizka
Mendieta two years ago.
The Biancocelesti owe the Spaniards around ? million, and this was
expected to be paid off with the sale of Claudio Lopez back to the Ches.
However, this move looks to have fallen through, and lawyers have
apparently been contacted to recoup the money owed.
