     2000年2月27日，對暴龍而言是個特殊的日子，這是球隊首度登上
     Natiornal TV，由於Vince在灌籃大賽中席捲全美，連帶使得電視台
     趕緊改變轉播賽程，加入許多暴龍隊的比賽，對於Vince而言，
     第一次在所有美國人面前打球，背負著極大壓力與期待，而他也迅速做出反饋，
     全場32投17中，三分球8投4中，罰球線13投全部命中，共攻下51分，
     刷新生涯新高（原記錄47），另外有 9個籃板及 3次抄截演出。
     如斯精彩的表現不僅僅讓全場地主球迷standing ovation，
     同時也令全美對他更加瘋狂，Vince發表了他的看法：
     "It feels good to get 51, but it hasn't sunk in yet," said Vince.
     "Inside I was really excited (about being on NBC)."
     "I wanted the ball in my hands where I could make a decision.
      I was hitting shots, but if I wasn't I wanted to get the double team
      and find the open man."
     "I didn't want to show it but inside I was like a little kid.
      I looked over at my mom and thought she was going to flip out of
      her seat," Vince said.
     終場前47.5秒，Vince底線拿球被雙人包夾，結果他硬是切入禁區擦板得分，
     獲得51分的同時全場陷入瘋狂，比賽結束，球隊以103：102擊敗太陽。
