我試著翻譯看看:
那些描述真實世界的數學命題是沒有確定性的;
而那些擁有確定性的數學命題不描述外在現實世界......... 但另一方面,可以確定的是
一般數學和某些特定的幾何學的存在性 ,應歸功於人類將之應用到發現現實世界特性
的需求.
意思應該是這樣, 這裡一般數學應是指一般抽象化的數學吧
就是數學系平常在唸的那種...

我也試著翻譯看看：
在數學的命題範圍內，它們描述了真實不是確定無疑的；而它們可以確定的範圍是它們
無法描述真實...但是，另一方面，可確定的是，數學一般來說，特別是對幾何學而言，
它們存在的意義（或它們的存在性@@）是由於我們人類「對學習一些有關實際物體的屬性
為何」的需求。

愛因斯坦大概意思是:
用數學公式表達的科學定律 並不是對宰制世界的律則的真實描述
充其量而言 前者只能逼近真理(approximation to truth)而不能代表真理
這點跟Cartwright的想法是差不多的
之所以我們承認數字或幾何學概念的存在 是因為它們有助於解釋物體的性質
這跟Quine的觀點是一樣的 有很強的實用主義的色彩在
嗯 愛因斯坦這段話說的真好 呵呵..
