Tamika Catchings loves the sound of perfect swishes, but hates the sound of... ahem, certain bodily functions.

You've seen it on Bravo and now it has made its way to WNBA.com. Inside the Actors Studio with James Lipton has become Inside the Ballers Studio with yours truly, Adam Hirshfield.
While Mr. Lipton goes one-on-one with the finest actors and actresses in the biz, I'll do the same with the top talent in the WNBA. And in each and every instance... ... it... is... a... delight. They are truly the most scrumtrulescent of athletes.
Every episode, I'll ask each WNBA player 10 questions in an attempt to get to know them a bit better. As my esteemed predecessor Mr. Lipton always points out, the questionnaire concept was originated by French television personality Bernard Pivot, after the Proust Questionnaire.
So without further ado, Tamika Catchings, let's begin...
1. What is your favorite word?
Catchings: "Random."
2. What is your least favorite word?
Catchings: "'Um.' That word’s so annoying."
3. What turns you on, creatively, spiritually or emotionally?
Catchings: "Actually making a difference really turns me on."
4. What turns you off?
Catchings: "Rude people."
5. What sound or noise do you love?
Catchings: "Swish. I love it when the ball goes through the net. But it’s almost better when it … it’s hard to describe it … when it hits off the back of the rim but still falls right through without bouncing. It’s such a cool sound. It doesn’t happen very often (laughs). But when it does, I love it. The whole gym stops, it gets all quiet and everyone looks."
6. What sound or noise do you hate?
Catchings: "Farting (laughs)."
7. What is your favorite curse word?
Catchings: "I don’t do curse words."
8. What profession other than your own would you like to attempt?
Catchings: "I really wish I could sing. I really wish I could."
9. What profession would you not like to do?
Catchings: "Have you ever watched that show, The Dirtiest Jobs? Cleaning sewers? Never!"
10. If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates?
Catchings: "C’MON IN!!! No, just kidding… No, if heaven exists and God is standing there, I’d definitely want to be welcomed in. Seeing the doors open would be nice. … A hug would do (laughs)."
