1. The National Mall今天人潮會很多
要去downtown的人建議別開車 請多利用metro
Metro從早上7:00開到午夜12:00 其停車場今天停車免費
2. 地鐵路線大改變
從Rosslyn到Stadium-Armory這一段的藍線今天全面改成橘線
因此Vienna到Stadium-Armory的橘線數量會是平常的兩倍
橘線在Stadium-Armory以東則分為New Carrollton及Largo Town Center兩個終點站
今天藍線僅剩下Rosslyn以南於Virginia的路線
但King Street到Franconia-Springfield這一段由藍線改成黃線
而King Street到Huntington這一段則由黃線改成藍線
3. 從下午兩點開始 紅線的終點站由Glenmont和Silver Spring交替
從下午六點開始 綠線的終點站由Fort Totten和Greenbelt交替
4. 今天The National Mall四周都有check points
每位進去The Mall的人都要經過檢查
禁止攜帶玻璃瓶、含酒精飲料、煙火或鞭炮、烤肉用具進入
而今天進入地鐵也禁止攜帶大型冰桶和腳踏車
5. 由於安全檢查之故
Smithsonian Station今天全日關閉
請利用週邊地鐵站進出
例如: Foggy Bottom-GWU, Metro Center, Archives-Navy Memorial-Penn Quarter,
Gallery Place-Chinatown, Union Station, L'Enfant Plaza,
Federal Center SW, etc
離The National Mall越近的站越容易堵塞
6. 從6:00pm到地鐵站關閉前
Franconia-Springfield和Springfield Mall (在Macy's的停車場)之間
有免費shuttle 每15分鐘一班
煙火之後
L'Enfant Plaza和Pentagon Transit Center之間也有免費shuttle
