九月了 開學了
表演藝術的season也快開始了
這週末聽說在華府地區有九個festivals
把我知道的幾個po出來
最近秋高氣爽 天氣晴朗 陽光和煦
氣溫不太高 也沒有雷陣雨
正適合出門走走參加活動喔
1. Alexandria Festival of the Arts
時間: Sat, 9/10 10:00am-7:00pm
Sun, 9/11 10:00am-5:00pm
地點: King Street from Washington to Union streets
in the heart of Old Town
地鐵站: King Street station (Blue/Yellow Line)

備註: 為期兩天的戶外藝術節 將有超過150位藝術家來展示販售其作品
包括繪畫、雕刻、珠寶、玻璃器具、攝影、手工藝品等等

2. The 21st Annual Kennedy Center Open House Arts Festival
時間: Sat, 9/10 11:30am-7:30pm
11:30am開始有遊行
地點: The Kennedy Center大大小小各舞台和表演廳
地鐵站: Foggy Bottom-GWU station (Blue/Orange Line)
11:00am起有Kennedy Center的free shuttle可轉乘
也可搭Metrobus 80直接到Kennedy Center

備註: 1. 在整年度表演季開始之前
Kennedy Center會舉辦一整天的Open House藝術節
不論是頻繁的藝術欣賞者
或是平時較少、甚至沒有機會接觸表演藝術的民眾們
都可以在Open House時免費欣賞或參加30種以上的表演或活動
(有些表演需要索取免費票券)
一方面讓更多民眾親近表演藝術 另一方面也達到親子同樂的效果
2. 表演類型包括交響樂、室內樂、爵士、拉丁、世界音樂、fusion,
合唱、歌劇、戲劇、舞蹈、芭蕾舞、舞獅等等
3. 15th Annual Rosslyn Jazz Festival
時間: Sat, 9/10 1:00pm-7:00pm
地點: Gateway Park, at N. Lynn Street and Lee Highway, Arlington, VA
地鐵站: Rosslyn station (Blue/Orange Line)

4. 27th Annual Adams Morgan Day Festival

Dupont Circle station (Red Line)
