，所以Youk應該會適應良好。他還不確定Youk要打幾棒，O-Dog的結局也還未定。O-Dog
週日滿壘時打了內野高飛球被boo，三壘守備也令人膽戰心驚。

Lillibridge認為這個交易"就是職棒的一部份。你不會期待這種事情發生在自己身上。

That revolving door at third base for the White Sox appears to have been
stopped with Sunday's acquisition of veteran Kevin Youkilis from the Red Sox.

And while Youkilis certainly isn't a youthful fix at age 33, he has a history
of being very good on very good teams and was a member of two Red Sox
championship teams.

He is expected to join the White Sox on Monday in Minnesota and go right into
the lineup after being acquired for utility man Brent Lillibridge and pitcher
Zach Stewart, who was demoted to Triple-A Charlotte last week.

The Red Sox also will pay $5.6 million of the $8.1 million Youkilis is still
owed this season.

General manager Ken Williams called Youkilis an "on-base percentage guy,
another guy that is not afraid to get a big hit. We just thought at this time
it was necessary (to trade) and necessary to do it sooner rather than later."

The Sox started the season with Brent Morel at third base until he
experienced back trouble. They also picked up 34-year-old Orlando Hudson
after the Padres released him, but he is hitting just .170.

Youkilis is a three time All-Star, most recently in 2011, and won a Gold
Glove as a first baseman in 2007.

A career .287 hitter in nine seasons with the Red Sox, he is hitting just
.233 in 42 games this season while spending time on the disabled list with
lower back tightness.

Williams said the health issue was something "you obviously check into right
away. We were given a good clean bill of health from him."

Williams also said that Youkilis "has a little edge to him, which I like."

Asked to explain, Williams replied: "I can't tell you exactly what he said,
but he wants to come in and he wants to prove some people wrong."

One person probably would be first-year Red Sox manager Bobby Valentine. It
was no secret Youkilis has not been happy with being benched lately.

White Sox captain Paul Konerko said the trade "could be a real steal" for the
White Sox and that Youkilis "is one of the toughest at-bats in the American
League."

"Anybody that's played in Boston, New York, any of those teams that has been
through it, those guys have to play their whole entire season in a fishbowl,"
Konerko said. "They're on a different level most of the time and that can
only help here, that type of focus."

"Every report you ever hear, he's a good teammate," manager Robin Ventura
said. "He plays hard. He's a pro. We have a room full of guys like that, so I
think he'll fit in just fine."

Ventura said he wasn't sure yet where Youkilis would bat and that Hudson
would "end up bouncing around" at infield positions.

Hudson popped up with the bases loaded to end the ninth inning Sunday and
heard boos. He also has been shaky on defense, although he made one great
stop Sunday.

"It's baseball," Hudson said. "If I was a GM, I'd make the same trade. I'm
not the best third baseman over there, plus I'm not swinging the bat well, so
definitely I'd make the same trade."

Lillibridge called the trade "part of the business. You never expect that's
going to be you in a trade like that. I'm excited. At the same time, I love
playing here."
