CHICAGO (AP)—Reliever Tony Pena and the Chicago White Sox have agreed to a $1.2 million, one-year contract that avoided arbitration. The right-hander was 1-2 with a 3.75 ERA in 35 relief appearances last season with the White Sox after he was acquired from Arizona on July 7. Pena was 6-5 overall with a 3.99 ERA in 72 games combined with Arizona and Chicago. He made $430,000.
