Q. Just on your outfit today, is that one of your designs? Can you tell us a
little bit about that?
想問問看你的球衣 這是你的設計嗎? 能不能說說看這件球衣?

VENUS WILLIAMS: Yeah, uhm, the design, it really was an Illusion dress, the
illusion when I wear the nude shorts under. But at the last minute I decided
not to.
我本來把他設計成一件幻象球衣的 幻象在於我打算穿裸色的安全褲
但最後上場前我決定不要這麼做

Q. Why was that?
為什麼?

VENUS WILLIAMS: I just decided to wear the black ones. But, you know, it's
just about focusing on the dress and not anything else. I mean, I had black
shorts under.
But normally like it's all about the dress because it has a mesh and a satin
kind of material. Of course, it's all sports gear, and it's all about that
zipper, too. A lot of the focus of the dress is the zipper.
So, of course, always I have fun designing my dresses.
我決定要穿黑色的安全褲 因為我覺得這樣可以把焦點集中在球衣上
這是網眼跟緞面材質做的 當然它也非常適合運動
那個拉鍊是重點 這件球衣很大的焦點在於那個拉鍊
當然 我對於設計自己的球衣非常總是感到很有樂趣

Q. Could you talk us through your outfit tonight?
你可以談談今天的這套球衣嗎?

VENUS WILLIAMS: Oh, the outfit is inspired by Alice in Wonderland. Yeah,
don't laugh. But it's kind of about a surprise, because when Alice goes down
the hole, the rabbit hole, she finds all these things that are so surprising.
This outfit is about having a surprise in tennis a dress, and kind of, you
know, showing some skin and then just having a print. Prints don't happen
that often in tennis. So it's called the Wonderland dress. It was fun.
這套球衣的靈感來源是"愛麗絲夢遊仙境" 嘿 不要笑
這件球衣就是要製造出一種驚奇的效果
當愛麗絲掉進洞裡面 他發現每個東西都很驚奇
這件球衣就是要讓大家對於網球服裝有種驚奇的效果
露出更多皮膚 下擺還有一些印花 通常在網球服裝裡不太會出現印花
所以這件衣服叫做仙境裙 非常有趣

Q. You have as much input into that as your other dresses?
你對於其他球衣也投入了這麼多精力嗎?

VENUS WILLIAMS: I put a lot of thought into my dresses. I love fantasy, and
this was kind of a way to express who I am on the court.
我對於我的球衣投注了非常非常多想法
我喜歡幻想 我覺得球衣也是一種在球場上展示我是誰的一種方式
