    (May 2, 2007) # 12 (and former # 1) Serena Williams and # 35 (and former
# 2) Anastasia Myskina have both withdrawn from next week's Qatar Total
German Open in Berlin, Germany. Serena has a groin injury incurred in
Charleston last month which has not yet fully healed. Anastasia is still
plagued by pain and inflammation of her left big toe, a problem which has
persisted since the summer of last year.
