Venus Has Rollercoaster Ride into QFs
Venus Williams surged, faded and then kicked again to finally advance to the
quarterfinals of the Cellular South Cup on Tuesday night. The five-time Grand
Slam champion opened a commanding 6-4, 4-0 lead over 16-year-old Caroline
Wozniacki only to see the Dane claw her way back to 4-4.

這位五個大滿貫冠軍曾經以6-4 4-0領先 但被這位16歲丹麥新秀Wozniacki追至4-4
Williams steadied to go ahead 5-4 and then needed four match points before
breaking Wozniacki for the sixth time of the match on her fourth match point
of the game to close out the match 6-4, 6-4.
大威開始打的平穩 並在四個賽末點後破發拿下比賽 6-4 6-4獲勝
Williams said of her fadeout: "I played a loose point and then started to
make some errors and she did a good job to keep getting the ball back. She
kept it close.
"我開始鬆散了 然後又打了些失誤 他的回球也不錯 他讓比賽很緊湊"
"But overall this match was definitely better (than the first round). There
were streaks of good play and at 4-all I picked up my game... With my
mentality I'd love to win the title but it's just one step at a time; I can't
rush it. It's nice to be in the quarterfinals."

而且在4-4找回狀態 我真的很希望能贏這項賽事 但我會一步一步來
