    (Sep 29, 2005) The German press agency DPA has reported that # 1 Maria
Sharapova (right pectoral muscle strain) and # 11 Serena Williams (left knee
& ankle) have withdrawn from the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix in Filderstadt,
Germany, which begins on Monday, October 3. # 7 Venus Williams, Serena's
sister, had already withdrawn, also with a left knee problem.
