這個紀錄已經保持了快八年
但是在辛辛那提
今年剛復出的35歲老將Brenda Schultz-McCarthy
星期六在會外賽第一輪發出了130MPH @@ (不要懷疑他35了)
但他還是 2-6 4-6敗給美國的Cohen
今天小威的第一輪比賽也發出了追平大威紀錄的127MPH
所以說 大威保持了八年的紀錄 三天內就被兩位選手追到了Orz
In her win over second-seeded Anastasia Myskina in the Western & Southern
Financial Group Women's Open, several of Williams' serves were clocked above
120 mph. She even fired a 127-mph serve that matched the fastest ever
recorded before this tournament.
However, Serena didn't tie a Sony Ericsson WTA Tour record. WTA publicist Amy
Binder said a 130-mph serve was struck here Saturday by Brenda
Schultz-McCarthy in a qualifier match, and that blast will stand as the new
record.
