Venus Williams Practices, Gives Interviews In Memphis
02.17.07 MEMPHIS-- Venus Williams had a practice session earlier today here.
Richard Williams was with her. Venus also gave an interview to the local TV
and paper only today and is scheduled to talk to the general media Sunday
evening at the Cellular South Cup. Venus faces Akiko Morigami of Japan Monday
night in round one.

球迷去Memphis在Alexandra Stevenson的比賽看到威爸
Guess who was watching this match...Richard Williams! He was there for at
least the second set, but I didn't notice him at all in the first, which
doesn't necessarily mean he wasn't there. He was sitting with some old white
lady (Alex's mom? No idea) and a younger white guy. Can't think of anything
else to add just now.

Venus To Give Press Interview in a few minutes.
It's a closed interview for the local paper only, the Commerical Appeal and TV.
I just saw Venus. She was wearing a blue warmup. They are doing the interview
now. It will most likely be online and in print tomorrow in that newspaper
and on the local TV news tonight.
She is scheduled to give another interview for the press at a later time.....
