Serena Williams Pulls Out of Zurich

FILDERSTADT, Germany (AP) -- Serena Williams pulled out of next week's WTA
tournament in Zurich, Switzerland.

``I am sorry to be missing the trip to Zurich. It's a great tournament in a
great city,'' Williams said in a statement released Saturday through the WTA.
``However, I still feel a strong need to stay close to home and my family in
the wake of the events of the past month.''
