Inochi


There are oh so many things that I would like to share with you
I really don’t know where to begin,
I don’t know how to say what’s on my mind
I know that we all have times when we give up hope
When alone and lonely we cry our hearts out,
thinking all thewhile that’s just the way life is
(But) it (really) doesn’t have to be that way
It doesn’t have to be that way,
It (really) doesn’t have to be that way
You are all truly one life with everything
Throughout all of Nature there are no boundaries of any kind
And in all creation there really are no distinctions, anywhere, to be found


Will people someday wake up and realize just what life’s truth really is
Or go on blindly struggling against the flow,
never knowing that we are all as one
Are we destined to struggle on this way to the end of time
Never to know, (to) realize the truth, living all as one
Are we never to realize
Never to realize, Never to realize life’s truth
And in this way come to the end of our precious lives
We have been lovingly blessed with an incredible wonder
Given an all-encompassing life, A beautiful miracle of Nature
We are all one together sharing this precious life
Knowing this to be true,
is it right to just stand by helplessly watching in silence
La, La, La, Is this really the way it is meant to be
You’re a wondrous child, a miracle of the universe
This precious gift called life
that we all share together is surely worth living
