唔，11月9日時ayaheng曾發起這篇「to sg fans」（http://www.warnermusic.com.tw/
board/bbs.asp?singer_name=&Board_name=&ID=49533&singer=1&press=1），那是新加
坡英文報紙對燕姿的採訪，但由於是英文的內容，所以我想台灣有很多年輕朋友們看不
懂，裡面除了房子以外，也談到一些有關緋聞的事（呵，最近燕姿一定被這些話題問煩
了吧？）底下，我就把原文PO上來，也作一下翻譯，給各位參考看看：

燕姿夢想買一間房子，但她說：「我現在只買得起廁所而已！」

IF you believe Stefanie Sun,she's just a normal working girl like you and me.
你相信燕姿只是一個跟你我一樣的普通上班女郎嗎？
A miser even, who can ponder for months before spending a cent.
而且燕姿還是十分節儉的一個人。
And behind all that squirrelling is a dream to buy her own condomimium
unit - complete with a plush bathroom plus an attached sauna.
不過燕姿卻夢想能夠買一間屬於她自己的房子——還要有一間有著蒸汽浴以及三溫暖的
豪華浴室。
’I’m saving up to buy my own place, preferably in Singapore,’said the
23-year-old, who now lives in an HUDC flat with her parents.
「我現在這麼節儉是為了想要買自己的房子——最好是在新加坡」這個二十三歲、與父
母同住於一間HUDC（Housing and Urban Development Corporation，新加坡住屋與都
市開發公司）的女孩子這樣說。
Asked how much she has already saved, she clammed up.
’I’m not there yet. I still have to work hard,’she insisted twice.
’Now all I can afford is the toilet. But that’s already very expensive,
okay!’ she added before bursting into girlish giggles.
當我問燕姿已經存下多少錢的時候，燕姿沈默了一會兒。
「我離完成那夢想還很遠啦，我還是要努力工作才行」燕姿這樣強調了兩次。
「現在我只買得起一間廁所而已，不過光是一間廁所已經很貴了。」燕姿露出少女的笑
容咯咯地笑著說。
With all the megabucks she’s earned from selling over a million CDs and
endorsing various products, it sounds a little unbelievable.
’I haven’t even got the money I made from the past four ad deals!’
she groaned in the comfort of a posh penthouse suite in Fullerton Hotel.
’I don’t get paid by the month, you see.’
但是以燕姿百萬張專輯以上的銷售量，還有代言了那麼多不同產品的狀況來看，燕姿這
種說法實在很讓人難以置信。
「我到現在還沒拿到我前面四個廣告的酬勞哪！」坐在Fullerton旅館頂樓豪華套房沙
發上的燕姿這樣有點抱怨地說。
「你看，我並不是那種固定每個月都可以領到薪水的上班族。」
She won’t reveal how much cash she’s been pocketing from product
endorsements.
But she has one more grand plan after the projected condo buy.
燕姿並沒有透露接下那麼多廣告，她獲得了多少酬勞。但是她已經擬定了買下屬於自己
的房子後，接著要進行的大計劃。
