 There are a variety of theories regarding the origins of the festival.
這個節日的由來有各種的理論(推測)

 By far the most widely accepted is the one that the festival was originated
to commemorate the death of Chu Yuan,a minister of the Kingdom of Chu.
到目前為止大部分廣泛地被接受是這個節日是被發源於來紀念屈原的逝世

 Chu Yuan, a noble-minded person, was loyal to :
屈原是一個思想高尚的(崇高的)人，他效忠於他的國家，
 his country and the king but, unfortunately, was detested by a few
small-minded ministers.
和君主，但很不幸地他被一些心胸狹窄的的ministers大臣厭惡

To get rid of him these ministers made defamatory remarks about him in front
of the king.

 As s result, Chu Yuan was first treated with indifference by the king

and then sent into exile.

 Chu Yuan was at last so saddened by the corruption in the government that he
 committed suicide by leaping into the Milo River.

Having learned that Chu Yuan, the beloved patriot and poet, had jumped into the

The Dragon-Boat Festival has become popular in Chines society mainly because
 the Chinese place a high value on patriotism and loyalty, which Chu Yuan
symbolized.
在中國(東方)社會端午節已經變的受歡迎(普及、普遍)，主要是因為中國人把屈原列為
一個愛國心和忠心的高價值的代表


 His poem Lisao is one of the most highly prized masterpieces in Chinese
literature.
他的詩-離騷是中國文學中最被讚賞的masterpieces

Thus the Dragon-Boat Festival is now celebrated also as Poets D: ay.
     端午節現在也被慶祝為詩人節

其實這篇文章不會很難，
文章中也有我不懂的單字，
只要動手查一下大概就能找到這個字的意思是什麼了，
基本上把一整篇英文的文章丟給別人幫你翻譯是不負責的做法，
因為你可以想辦法查這些單字字面上的意思，
國中時我的英文也很爛，
一直到高職的時候英文才慢慢地有進步，
只要有心，英文是可以補救的，
至少可以從不及格到及格。
