                市場上也有其他品牌使用來源沒寫出的魚粉成分
                例如布魯斯的魚粉(fish meal)、海陸饗宴的海魚粉(ocean fish meal)

                每一批/每一季所收到的魚粉不一定是同一種魚，所以用fish meal統稱

                海陸饗宴(Taste of the Wild)回答：
                到目前為止他們使用的海魚粉都是Menhaden whitefish
                成分與包裝袋上寫ocean fish meal是因為要預防
                萬一哪天收到的海魚粉原料不是Menhaden whitefish，
                要改包裝袋或成分會很麻煩
                因此使用名稱較不明確的ocean fish meal統稱之

    從其他廠商的回答以及FirstMate的網站成分標示看來，
    Firstmate大概也是這樣，使用的魚粉不一定每季每批都是內容相同
    產品目錄中有名字的魚粉成分都加上了Wild(野生)一字
    也為他們魚粉的不固定內容提供了合理的前提

    飼主/消費者要不要在意這點？我覺得是看個人選擇...

    由於整體來說海陸饗宴(鹿鮭口味)跟布魯斯算是還可以吃的飼料
    魚粉內容在某些人眼中便成為可以不那麼在意的缺點
    但是對成分很要求的飼主，也許就不能接受這一點

    使用名稱不明的成分，等級上比有使用明確名字的成份要差了一截
    因為每一批的原料內容會有較大空間的變化幅度
    而且這在成本上應該也是有差的（跟使用有名稱的成份相比）

entire fish, FirstMate’s herring and/or sardine and/or anchovy meal is over
92% digestible.  It is a great source of calcium, Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids.
 Herring helps to promote a healthy heart, immune system, skin and coat.
 Herring is an alternative protein source to chicken and can help in the
prevention of allergies.  Herring is a middle swimming fish that gets eaten
rather than eats on the food chain, thus it is free of harmful toxins such as
mercury and can be eaten regularly.  FirstMate uses Wild Pacific Herring from
sustainable fisheries.
