有貓友對於額外補充牛璜酸的劑量有疑惑，
於是我又請了之前幫助翻譯的同事，幫我翻了一封文筆優雅的信前去詢問Dr.Pierson，
很感謝她的再度相助，叫我寫這種程度的英文，我想很難啊  囧，

I'd like to consult you with questions about the added amount of taurine if 
it is convenient for you.


Below is the calculated recipe designed by you:
3lb (1400g) Chicken thigh  
4500-5000mg Calcium (or 4 tablespoons bonemeal) 
16oz (454g) Water

4 Egg yolks Use ALL of the egg….not just the yolks.

4000mg Fish oil 
800iu VitE 
200mg B-complex 
14oz Chicken heart (400g) 
1.5tsp Morton lite salt (or 1tsp regular salt w/iodine+0.5tsp salt 
w/potassium) 
7oz (200g) Chicken liver


As far as I recall, there should be 150mg of taurine added additionally daily 
for this recipe to be cooked. 
Would this amount of taurine be varied according to individual cat's weight 
such as 30mg taurine per kg?

In addition, there are many people following the Bone meal powder recipe on 
your website. 
Some of them cook the meat fully because the meat might not be fresh. 
Would you recommend them to add taurine into recipe daily as well? If so,
what would be the proper amount?

Follow the same recipe and add in the same amount of taurine…cooked or raw. 
 The amount of added taurine is a rough guideline….150-200 mg per day per 
cat.  Even that much is probably overkill given that it is a meat-based diet 
with lots of taurine in it but the 150-200 is a good 'insurance policy' 
against deficiency.


無論是將肉煮熟或用生肉，遵循一樣的食譜並且添加(上文所提到)一樣的量即可。
牛磺酸的添加量是一個粗略的指導方針...一貓/150~200mg/每日。
鑒於這是一份以肉為基礎的飲食，本身就含有豐富的牛磺酸
即使添加的量看似誇張，然而150~200mg是一個避免牛磺酸缺乏的良好「保險方案」。

*信中有幾個重點

1.由於屁屁檢驗的指數都已降到正常範圍內，
因此食譜再次修改把4個蛋黃，改成4個蛋白全熟的全蛋。


2.不論是吃生或熟肉，
安妮的食譜每天可補充150mg牛磺酸，不論何種體型的貓。
醫生的食譜每天可補充150mg~200mg牛磺酸，不論何種體型的貓。

我想大概是均補充150mg來記比較方便。
