你們 Application Forms 是印在 A4(210x297mm) 紙上還是另外
去買了 Letter Size(8.5x11") 的紙上？ Statement of Purpose 寫
了幾頁幾行幾個字？Resume 呢？
哪裡可以 download 得到一些比 Times New Roman 漂亮的免費
字形？是用雷射印表機在高級紙上印出凸凸的感覺比較好，還是彩色
的 Resume 比較有吸引力？
林奕良什麼時候出國？除了 Stanford 外還申請到哪些學校？
有為了不同的學校寫不同版本的 Statement of Purpose 嗎？
還有勒？

I think it doesn't matter which size of paper you use. I think clear
hand-writing is enough. Actually, a lot of American's writings are
very difficult to recognize. That's why they need a word processor or a
computer.
If I were you. I will choose A4 size and use a laser printer to print
the form. But I will not spend any time to find some beautiful
character sets.

I don't think there is any help to print my name on it:)

But in my English class, the teacher said, do not use any color paper
for your resume. It surely attracts the committee, but not in the
positive way. They might think it is a little bit childish.

It's unfair. Why not ask for my opinions:)
It surely will do a lot of help if you can write different versions
of your SOP. But the point is it do help you being admitted, but may
not help you to find the school suiting you most. You may be admitted
to a school that you finally find that it does not suit you. So my
suggestion is DO NOT make too much modification for different
versions. Small modification will do only good to you.

It doesn't matter.

One page, though more than one page is also okay.

One page, AND MORE THAN ONE PAGE IS NOT OKAY.
(Nobody under 30 has enough experience to fill up more than one
page, IMHO.)

Times New Roman is perfectly fine. If you can find a version
of Garamond or Centaur it would be good as well.

Definitely the former.

I wrote a generic version and then customized the last paragraph
for individual schools.

I did (2), but I don't think it matters. The handwriting of
non-native English speakers is usually much neater than that of
native English speakers. (:
