我多年前也有過這個問題
想挑分數高的片 可是不一定好找 或是年代久遠不合現代胃口
想挑人氣旺的片 可是也有不少是分數不怎麼樣的片
想挑分數高又人氣旺的當紅片 又會錯過許多經典
想挑經典片或其它歐美非英語片 又因為看的人通常少而難找到相關討論
於是在嘗試多次之後 針對個人偏好
把片子的年份, 分數, 和人氣(投票數), 設計了一個綜合性的指數排行榜
然後就以排行榜為主, 再依片子主題與個人偏好來挑片
(因為分數跟投票數常常在變, 所以每隔幾個月重排一次)
公式設計的原則是: 人氣愈高排名愈高, 評價愈高排名愈高, 年代愈久排名愈低
然後三者之間的取捨則完全是調到跟自己看片習慣感覺最對為止
現在用的公式是:
Score = (Rating-7)*10000 + (Votes/5) - (今年年份-影片年份)*200
所以年份相同的兩片, 評價少一分就會多需要五萬人才能排在相同位置
評價相同的兩片, 每老十年的片子就多需要一萬人才能排在相同位置
人數相同的兩片, 每老十年的片子就要多0.2分才能排在相同位置
最後再加上上榜門檻至少5000票
免得挑出來一堆很難找到的片
結果撈出來的 Top 1000 片單中
各年代片子數分佈是
~1929 0
1931~1939 5
1940~1949 12
1950~1959 26
1960~1969 42
1970~1979 53
1980~1989 104
1990~1999 252
2000~2007 486
2008 22
這份片單中最老的十部片是
