文化研究與批判理論 (Cultural Studies and Critical Theory)

課程目的與簡介
本課程關切的重點在於:幫助學生,能藉由閱讀多樣的、多元的文化研究的理論與案例探
討文章,訓練開啟與批判理論與論點的對話,不管是贊成、反對或是修正,甚至是推翻,
而能進一步發展自己獨立思考的觀點與符合邏輯的批評。另外,也期許學生要開放心胸,
接受不同的跨學科的知識,這也是文化研究的基本精神,不局限於只有一種視野與單一學
科的學習,或是特定主流理論的應用。
課程要求與評分方式
1. 課堂出席與參與討論的用心程度。(15%)
2.各修課者須針對每週閱讀材料摘要報告與回應,上課時繳交須書面報告(1000-2000
字)。(20 %)
3. 課堂導讀報告(學期初分組)
*每人針對一、二單元主題作深入的理解並導讀。
*因應導讀的讀本,於課堂中負責提出妳/你所觀察到的相關特定的現象或文本供課堂討
論與延伸思考,目的是希望同學能練習如何與課堂所指派的讀本對話,並能觸類旁通,選
取新的例子,練習培養觀點,並建立批判的思考取向。(15%)
4. 期末報告︰發展你有興趣的研究主題,寫一篇期末報告,而此報告必須與課堂所教授
過的理論、概念或範圍相關 (8,000-10,000 字)。(50%)
