INTRODCUTION
The major goal of this class is to provide the students the fundamentals
of the contemporary cultural studies and critical thoughts. Thus, we will
start with the key concepts in the field such as: ideologies, representation,
identities, and their connections to the communication studies.
Each student is required to read the assigned readings, participate in the
discussion and lead at least one discussion session. There will be writing

to develop their own research interest and agenda in cultural studies.
