原本斬釘截鐵說乾飼料絕對沒問題的飼料公司，
現在又要怎麼自圓其說呢？

Hill's回收m／d的貓飼料，
IAMS也聲稱它的乾飼料裡絕對沒有melamine，
那，這篇新聞是怎麼回事？

"After Pennsylvania resident Yvette Faulkner contacted PETA about the death
of her cat, Sassafras, who she reports suffered kidney failure and had to be
euthanized although “he was fed only dry Iams food that I had just recently
purchased,” PETA has called on the FDA to issue an emergency expansion of
the pet-food recall to include all dry food subject to complaints until it is
chemically tested for safety. "
有一隻貓咪腎衰竭被安樂死，主人說牠只吃IAMS的乾飼料，而且是剛買的。
PETA建議飼料公司要回收所有的乾飼料並做毒物檢驗。

還有，殘忍的動物實驗，又是怎麼回事？
"Iams has a history of causing animal suffering. During a 2002 to 2003
undercover investigation of an animal-testing laboratory doing contract work
for Iams, a PETA investigator documented terrified animals confined to
cramped, dirty cages in dilapidated rooms; dogs who had chunks of muscle cut
from their thighs, and other forms of cruelty."

IAMS一直都拿動物作實驗，作實驗也就罷了，
還這麼不人道且殘忍地對待那些動物。
動物住在骯髒擁擠的籠子裡，
狗大腿上被切下好幾塊肌肉。

"In addition, PETA is asking the FDA to investigate whether Iams may have
known about the contaminated food as early as February 20, even though the
recall wasn’t issued until March 16!"
IAMS也許早在２月２０號就發現食物有問題，
但是一直到３月１６號才開始回收。

"This is the first of what may prove to be many dry food recalls."

Hill's開始回收乾飼料了，
這真的只是個開始而已。

"In a news conference today, federal officials confirmed that at least one
shipment of the same poisoned wheat gluten that has been responsible for dog
and cat deaths across the country was shipped to a dry-food manufacturer.
Despite this knowledge, the FDA and pet-food manufacturers have failed to
issue a precautionary recall of dry pet food and won’t disclose which
dry-food manufacturer received the tainted shipment. PETA is urging all
companion-animal guardians who suspect that their animals may have been
sickened by tainted food to immediately report this to the FDA."

同一批有毒的wheat gluten已經證實也有送到乾飼料廠，
而飼料公司並沒有回收乾飼料，也不願意透露是哪些牌子。

（望著我家地上那半包美士，還好我沒有再繼續餵了）

這真是夠了，誰還敢相信menu food公司的人說的話？
那些飼料公司也在說謊，因為乾飼料也有問題。

推 ninetales:瑪丁囉... 最高檔的也最好，我家挑食狗也願意吃..@_@|||
推 iceonme:皇家吧 一直對它們家的東西 比較安心
