根據最近 2002年5月10日(週五)一項 刊登在 the Times雜誌上的研究評估 (包含教學品
質評估, 入學平均分數等結果) ,再次顯示了University of Sheffield 已在各項評測上
達到了高標準

The latest Research Assessment Exercise results as published in the Times on
Friday 10 May 2002, incorporated with the results of the Teaching Quality
Assessments and average entry grades, show that, once again, The University
of Sheffield has achieved highly across all levels.



從分析各項刊登的表格可看出, Sheffield 在教學,研究與學生素質各項評比中,得到5分(
英國大學院評比分數為1-5分) 的系所共有15個

Analysis of published tables shows that Sheffield comes 4th in the UK with 15
top 5 departments for teaching, research and student quality.



在報導裡得到最多個5分的系所的大學依次有:劍橋(32個系所),牛津(20個系所), 諾丁漢
(16個系所), 雪菲爾(15個系所) 與 倫敦大學(12個系所)

The top five universities in this category are : Cambridge with 32, Osford
with 20, Nottingham with 16, Sheffield with 15 and UCL with 12 top 5
