This rookie will have a solid future with Yankees !
I think he did more than just "OK", allowing only 4 hits in
7.1 innings.
This would have been a stellar performance by any of the other
Yankees' starters who are paid 100 more than what Wang makes off the Yankees
payroll
這新手在洋基裡絕對有未來！
我認為他投得比「還好」好很多，在7.1局裡只讓對方打出四安。
這表現放在任何其他洋基薪水比王多上一百倍不只的投手身上來說都是一流的演出。

What I like about this kid is that he can throw 93 mph with a nasty
sinking movement. He has real potential.
I'm an old catcher that can truly appreciate his stuff.
Let's hope that George doesn't use him as trade bait

better than "ok" for sure.........if a team's starter can go out
regularly and give up only 4 hits in 7.1 innings every outing.......
that team will win at least 85 % of those games.
a starter who can pitch.....under the age of 30.......
maybe THIS time.....we will KEEP this one?
當然比「還好」還好好不好……如果一支球隊的先發可以按時出場，
並在每場比賽中投7.1局只被打出四安……那場球隊至少有85%的比賽
會贏球。
一個能投的先發……而且還未滿三十歲……也許這一次……我們會留
住這一個？


How can you say that he did OK? He is a rookie and this was
his third start in the majors. He deserved the win in his first
game that he pitched and he certainly deserved it today. I'm
sorry Torre took him out in the 8th. It would have been good
to see if he could get out of the inning. Torre probably was
trying to protect him because he is young but I think he did
a great job!
你怎麼能說他投得「還好」?他是個新人而這只是他第三場在大聯盟
的比賽，他第一場就該拿到勝投了，而他今天更是該贏。我對Torre
在八局時把他換下場感到可惜，如果可以看看他是否能安全度過那
一局應該會不錯看。Torre也許是想保護他因為他還年輕，但我覺得
他今天表現非常棒！


I was at the game tonight and I have to tell you he reminds me
of Catfish Hunter. His motion and delivery are very similar and
I think he's going to be the same type of "pitcher" as Hunter.
I just hope they don't trade him away for some bum outfielder
has-been or some other National league pitching star.
我今晚在現場看比賽，我必須告訴你們他（指王）讓我想起Catfish Hunter。
他的動作跟投法跟Catfish非常像，我覺得他將會是一個跟Catfish一樣
的「投手」。我只希望他們不要把他拿去別隊換個澳爛外野手或是其他

The beauty of Wang's delivery is the stall at the top of his
motion.. it kills the hitter's timing mechanisms.
I'd kill to catch this kid. If I could get him to locate his
pitches consistently, he'd be a superstar.
Let Girardi work with him instead of Mel...
王投球的精采之處就是在他動作之上的拖延，這讓打擊的時間控制機制
無法發揮。我超想跟這孩子搭配看看，如果我可以讓他投球落點保持一

Chien Ming Wang was outstanding ...its so refreshing to see
a kid that has come through the system and is performing

Arh..ok..I guess i'm being too hard on him,
all i think about is that he used more balls then he did on his debut,
probably because of the first and second inning..
Anyway, he is definitely improving a lot,
stay calm and confident still,
but, i wanna see him SMILE !!!! lol..
啊……好吧。我想我對他太嚴苛了。
我所想的只是他這一場的用球數比他處女秀時還多，
也許是因為一二局的關係……
無論如何他的確進步很多，
但是，我想看他笑啊！！！
