When I woke up today,
I remembered your name, though you had gone away, I could recall your eyes vaguelly bloodshot and blue,
Like the late evening skies,
And the things that I miss,
Is your touch sound and smell,
And the warmth of your kiss.
Midnight lying in bed, staring blind at the wall,
Seeing your face instead,
I catch the tail of the stars, see the rustle of trees and hear them sway in the breeze,
Tied to you by a chain,
Since you took off in vain,
