這首歌的發行
是在我的爺爺因癌症過世後
在照顧爺爺的時候 年紀還小 心裡其實有點不滿
覺得為什麼大家都這麼努力想方設法要幫爺爺找最好的醫療
爺爺卻一副想放棄的喪志樣子 未免也太消極
而在聽這首歌時 年紀也不大 雖然有想到爺爺 但也只是單純覺得悲傷
又過了十年 想起了MCR這個當年最愛的團體
再度聽到了這首歌
突然有種無法遏止的傷感 覺得很對不起爺爺
當他在他人生最困難、最不舒服的時候
我卻沒有站在他的角度為他著想 反而還有點怒其不爭
因為我只想到自己
只想要自己的爺爺多接受治療 回復健康 而沒有去想他是這麼的痛苦而無助
想必爺爺在病中也跟歌詞描述的一樣 不斷的在難過將要與我們分別吧
現在我們都很好 希望爺爺在天上可以安心休息 不再有憂患病痛纏身
