歌詞典故：
Samson，就是舊約聖經故事的「參孫」，一位力大無窮的以色列士師。
這首歌詞裡的Delilah，則是參孫離開妻子後愛上的女人「大利拉」。
參孫因為放縱情慾，把自己力量的秘密告訴大利拉，
殊不知大利拉早已暗中與非利士人串通好，
親近參孫的目的就是要套出參孫的秘密，
導致頭髮在睡覺時被大利拉派人剪掉（頭髮為其力量來源），力量全失，
最後被非利士人抓住，挖去雙眼囚禁起來。
