- Travelers
One day we'll travel, far from the sea
side where we grew up and held on to the
shore. There will be oceans we'll see
together and if we're troubled we'll know
where to go.
And I will hold you and my umbrella. We'll
see the mountains rise up in the east. If
we'll be dancing is up to the weather, I
don't mind rain when you're standing with
me.
Someday we'll see the streets of Manhattan
and second hand stores by the lower east
side. You will buy dresses and shoes from
the sixties, I will find records from happier
times.
And I will hold you while we go strolling,
through Central park and the upper west side.
One day I'll promise, I'll make you happy.
I'll do whatever as long as you're mine.
And somewhere down the road you might go lost
a little while. I will walk beside you even
if you smile or cry. If youever doubt that all
my fellings are sincere...
I will sing this again until you fall asleep
and then, I'll stay beside you walk behind
you catch you when you fall.
And I will hold you and my umbrella. We'll see
the mountains rise up in the east. If we'll be
dancing is up to the weather, I don't mind rain
when you're standing with me.
