THIS MOMENT IS OK
written by M. Pellow/J. Hallawell/C. Difford
Mom's been drinking from her hand bag
she's been sleeping through the day
the dogs bark at the freeway
as the uptown drives away
from their offices and diary's
to their homes upon the hill
the rain beats on the window
now our time is standing still
for all the tea in china I would not move away
but for a litte sunshine I'd find the time of day
this moment isn't moving
this moment's here to stay
there's nothing wrong with dreaming
this moment is ok
dad sits down in his armchair
watching spiders in the floor
making bets with one another
who'll be first to walk out the door
it's a Palace of distinction
why ain't it home for me
as the sun comes up in darkness
where the drinking sets me free
for all the tea in china I would not move away
but for a little sunshine I'd find the time of day
this moment isn't moving
this moment's here to stay
there's nothing wrong with dreaming
this moment is o
I thought I saw a angel
and it tapped upon my shoulder
I wasn't ready for the answers
but I knew that it was over
it's time to move along
now the past is never gone
and there's nothing wrong with dreaming
this moment is ok
there's nothing wrong with dreaming
this moment's her to stay
