Mescenphalic nucleus of NV.  The mesencephalic nucleus extends from
the level of the rostral pons into the midbrain.  It is loacated in
the ventrolateral aspect of the gray matter surrounding the rostral
end of the fourth ventricle and the begining of the cerebral aquaduct
(Fig. 11-6). It receives mainly muscle spindle afferents from
the jaw and related areas of the face (i.e. the amsseter and temproalis
muscles), whic serve as afferents for closing of the jaws.

因為掌控生體proprioception 的 mesecephalic nucleus 是從rostral pons開始
的引此AC皆可.
