什麼是隱球菌症？
隱球菌症是由致腫瘤隱球菌(Cryptococcus neoformans)所引起的一種亞急性或慢性酵
母菌型真菌感染。致腫瘤隱球菌是隱球菌屬中唯一具有病原性者，最常侵犯中樞神經系統
，造成腦膜炎，其次是發生在肺、皮膚黏膜、骨、前列腺、泌尿道、眼睛或其他器官。

Cryptococcal skin infection
Approximately 10-15% of patients infected with C neoformans develop skin
involvement. In immunocompetent hosts, the skin may be the only site of
infection; however, immunosuppressed patients, especially those with AIDS,
have skin involvement that must be considered evidence of disseminated
disease.
Cutaneous lesions include nodules, ulcers, papules, and vasculitic lesions.
