前言：最近洽逢大聯盟球季正式開打
MovieLine的專欄作家Mike Ryan也特別選出30部
適合各隊不同球迷觀賞的影視作品
這30部作品在影壇的評價不一，但都有一個共通點－
他們都是經過劇本潤飾的戲劇作品
（換句話說，就是紀錄片不在他的考慮範圍內）

以下就是Mike Ryan精選的30部片單
當然，如果您對你支持球隊搭配的影片不大滿意
您可以在網頁的下面留言給他，畢竟他也坦承有些球隊的確不好選

AL East
Boston Red Sox: Fear Strikes Out (1957)
華人圈翻譯孺子雄心
Tony Perkins stars in the true story of Jimmy Piersall. Red Sox fans, just be
glad that this movie exists or this entry could very well be Fever Pitch.

舊版驚魂記男主角Tony Perkins在本片扮演充滿傳奇的Jimmy Piersall
紅襪球迷們，你們應該慶幸有這部電影的存在，不然這席空位真的要讓給
茱兒巴莉摩主演的"愛情全壘打"了

New York Yankees: Pride of the Yankees (1942)
台譯洋基之光
Gary Cooper was nominated for an Academy Award for his portrayal of Lou
Gehrig (the luckiest man on the face of the Earth) in this 1942 classic.

傳奇影星賈利古柏在這部1942的經典中，因飾演傳奇球星蓋瑞格（又名地表上
最幸運的人），提名奧斯卡影帝
譯按：POTY是有經過奧斯卡加持，但我相信不少人應該會跟我一樣
想把這個席位讓給比利克里斯托導演的棒壇雙雄（61）吧！

Toronto Blue Jays: Major League II (1994)
台譯大聯盟2：絕戰大反攻
The Blue Jays aren’t really known for their appearances in popular culture.
In Major League II, however, the Cleveland Indians clinch the division
against Toronto in the final game of the season. So, there’s that.

藍鳥隊在大眾文化中的名氣，並不是那麼的被廣為所知
不過在大聯盟2中，印地安人剛好就在例行賽的最後一場比賽擊敗藍鳥，
榮登分區冠軍，所以我也就只能推薦ML2了
譯按：同樣是喜劇，我比較會推薦亞當山德勒的冒牌老爸
因為片中那個讓人愛恨交加的小孩，可說是親生父親在1993年
世界大賽期間的"意外產物"

Baltimore Orioles: A Winner Never Quits (1986)
Surprisingly, the Orioles are very light on movie appearances. Before the
Orioles moved to Baltimore for the 1954 season, they were the St. Louis
Browns. At one point, the Browns had a one-armed player name Pete Gray. He
wasn’t bad, actually!

很意外地，金鶯隊在電影出現的機率非常低
在金鶯於1954年搬到巴爾地摩之前，他們的名字是聖路易布朗
在那時，布朗隊有一位名叫Pete Gray的獨臂球員

Tampa Bay Rays: The Rookie (2002)

When The Rookie was released, the Rays were still the Devil Rays, but still:
Not bad for a fairly new franchise. Added bonus: The Rookie also features
Angus T. Jones, making Jon Cryer the only title character from Two and a Half
Men not on this list.

應該不難知道是誰，事實上這位仁兄早就出現在藍鳥的那一欄了

AL Central
Chicago White Sox: Eight Men Out (1988)
台譯密戰陰謀
Probably not every White Sox fan’s favorite subject, but, hey: At least you
weren’t alive when this happened Also, Charlie Sheen’s lesser-known third
film on this list. (If you want “feel good” White Sox option, watch Max
Dugan Returns.)

我知道不是每個白襪球迷都能接受這個主題，但球迷們，至少你們不是在那個
年代出生的，這也是查理辛出現在這榜單的第三部，也是知名度較低的影片。
假如你想要看一部讓你心情好的白襪主題電影，你可以考慮1983年的喜劇
批星載月（又名貴客光臨）

Cleveland Indians: Major League (1989)
台譯大聯盟
Well, of course. And at least Tom Berenger isn’t on a cocaine binge or in
jail for tax evasion.

當然是本片囉。值得欣慰的是，至少本片的另一個主角湯姆貝林傑不會面臨
開古柯鹼轟趴或因逃漏稅而坐牢的鳥事
譯按：作者的那句話很明顯在酸最近風波不斷的查理辛，XD

Kansas City Royals: The Bronx is Burning (2007)
True, this mini-series is about the Yankees, but the Yankees play the Royals
in the 1977 ALCS, which is depicted on-screen. Sorry, there’s not much out
there for the Royals. For people under the age of 30, the Royals used to be a
good team. (And for Royals fans, get excited for your AL Central title in
2016!)

這部迷你影集的主角的確是洋基隊，但皇家至少也曾經出現在1977年與洋基
爭奪美聯冠軍的那一段。很抱歉，影視圈隊皇家隊的著墨並不多。對30歲以下
的影/球迷來說，皇家曾經是一支強隊；至於對皇家隊球迷，好消息是你們應該
會為球隊預約五年後的美聯中區冠軍感到興奮！

Minnesota Twins: Little Big League (1994)
台譯小子大聯盟
It’s either this or Major League: Back to the Minors. Before Target Field
opened, I bet at one point Twins fans actually wished that a 12-year-old kid
owned the team.

我是在本片與大聯盟3之間二選一的
在雙城新球場開幕之前，我敢打賭一定有雙城球迷希望片中這位12歲小孩
會是現實世界中球隊的老闆
譯按：這有點在暗酸雙城老闆以前不願意花大錢留球員，不過近年來這狀況
的確改善許多

Detroit Tigers: For Love of the Game (1999)
台譯往日柔情
The Tigers aren’t very good in this movie. And, honestly, this movie isn’t
very good, either. Though it does feature a perfect game thrown against the
New York Yankees — and that has to count for something, right?

片中的老虎隊並不是戰績很好的球隊，而本片說實在話也並不特別傑出
不過既然有對洋基投出完全比賽的情節，這應該就構成推薦的理由了吧！

AL West
Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim: Angels in the Outfield (1994)
台譯魔幻大聯盟
Probably one of the most underrated films in terms of future star power: A
young Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Adrien Brody and Matthew McConaughey are all in
this film. And Tony Danza.

以演員未來發展來說，這很有可能是史上最被低估的一部片
在本片中，你可以看到年輕時期的喬瑟夫高登理維、安德連布洛迪、馬修
麥康納，以及..在片中飾演投手的東尼丹薩
譯按：我懷疑這作者是東尼丹薩的死忠影迷，因為接下來的片單中作者也有提到他

Oakland Athletics: Moneyball (2011)
台譯魔球
It’s not out yet, but no matter how good or bad Moneyball turns out to be,
the selection for the Oakland A’s will be Moneyball.

魔球電影版是還沒有上映，但無論成果好壞，都註定會是運動家隊的代表電影

Texas Rangers: The Rookie (2002)
台譯心靈投手
The only film to appear twice on this list, primarily because the Texas
Rangers don’t make a lot of appearances in film. When Jim Morris makes his
Major League debut, it’s in Arlington against the Texas Rangers.

這是唯一同時入選兩隊片單的電影，或許是因為遊騎兵在電影中出現的機會
並不多吧！當片中的主角莫理森第一次在大聯盟出賽時，地點剛好就是在
遊騎兵的主場

Seattle Mariners: The Naked Gun (1988)
台譯笑彈龍虎榜
Judging from this story, it appears that only way the producers of The Naked
Gun were allowed to use the (at the time) California Angels in the film was
to use the Mariners as their opponent.

根據先前緬懷本片主角萊斯利尼爾森的報導，要讓笑彈龍虎榜的製作團隊，
獲得天使隊球場使用許可的唯一方法，就是讓水手成為那場球賽的客場球隊

NL East
Atlanta Braves: The Slugger’s Wife (1985)
台譯嬌妻難纏
Unfortunately, this movie isn’t very good. If nothing else, though, it does
answer the question, “Hey, what happened to Michael O’Keefe after
Caddyshack?” (It was nice to see good ol’ Danny in Michael Clayton two
decades later.)

很不幸地，本片並不是優質好片，但這至少也回答了一個問題－Michael O’Keefe
在演出經典喜劇"瘋狂高爾夫"之後發生什麼事？不過幸運的是，在20年後我們終於
又在"全面反擊"中，看到丹尼(O’Keefe在瘋狂高爾夫的角色名)了

Washington Nationals: How Do You Know (2010)
台譯愛在心裡怎知道
Owen Wilson’s character in this movie plays for the Nationals. So, congrats,
Nationals fans; you now have a movie that is just as bad as your team.

歐文威爾森在片中剛好飾演一位國民隊的球星
所以，恭喜國民的球迷們，你們總算有了一部跟你們球隊戰績
一樣糟糕的電影

New York Mets: Men in Black (1997)
台譯MIB星際戰警
Bernard Gilkey sees a UFO over Shea Stadium and misses a routine fly ball. I
can only assume that there have been a lot of UFOs following around the Mets
over the last few years in an effort to explain their play.

當時效力於大都會（AKA梅子）的Bernard Gilkey，在梅子舊家看到了一艘
太空飛船，並因此漏接了一顆例行性高飛球－我想大概也只有梅子新家地底下
的飛碟們，可以解釋梅子隊這幾年場上場下都鳥事不斷的原因了
譯按：這是搞笑版選項，如果要溫馨一點的我推薦黑洞頻率

Philadelphia Phillies: The Phillie Phanatic Goes Hollywood (2006)
I think the title pretty much sums it up.
他的片名足以說明一切

Florida Marlins: Back to the Future Part II (1989)
台譯回到未來2
OK, not technically the Marlins (yes, the mascot more resembled a gator) —
but it is a team out of Miami that loses to the Cubs (ha!) in the 2015 World
Series. So, it is possible that the Marlins will change their logo and switch
leagues before then.

好吧，我知道並不是真正馬林魚隊的電影，因為在片中，邁城是以鱷魚作為他們的吉祥物
，但這是一支在2015的世界大賽中輸給小熊的球隊耶！

Chicago Cubs: Rookie of the Year (1993)

I’ve always wondered why “injury leads to super-human ability” has yet to
ever happen in real life. Then again, this is a team that hasn’t won a World
Series in 103 years, so it’s fun to ponder things that will never happen in
real life.

我總是好奇一個問題：為何受傷產生特異功能的情節，在現實中仍然沒有發生？
對一支超過一百年沒拿世界大賽冠軍的球隊來說，反覆回味在真實人生絕對不會
發生的事情絕對很有趣

St. Louis Cardinals: The Pride of St. Louis (1952)
Since the Cardinals are my favorite team, I wanted to include something
really great. Unfortunately, the Cardinals do not have a really great movie.
So here’s this biopic about Dizzy Dean, unfortunately. (Oh, how I almost
used the entire series run of Who’s the Boss? featuring former Cardinals
second baseman turned house-cleaner Tony Micelli.)

紅雀是我最愛的球隊，所以我也想要藉此來介紹更棒的電影
可惜的是，影史上並沒有一部真正偉大的紅雀隊電影
所以，我只能用這部Dizzy Dean的傳記電影來濫竽充數了

PS：我差點就要用曾經是紅雀二壘手，退休後雀淪為清潔工的Tony Micelli當主角
（此角由東尼丹薩飾演）的經典影集妙管家來頂替這個版面了，Orz

Milwaukee Brewers: Mr. 3000 (2004)
台譯安打先生
Thank you, Milwaukee Brewers and Mr. 3000; you’ve made me feel better about
including The Pride of St. Louis as the Cardinals entry onto this list. (No
offense to the late Mr. Mac.)

感謝你們啊，釀酒人與安打先生這部電影，因為你們讓我對將上面那部老片
選入紅雀隊片單中這件事感到好多了，雖然我無意要冒犯該片的男主角柏尼麥克
（因為他已經過世了）

Pittsburgh Pirates: Angels in the Outfield (1951)
The original Angels in the Outfield featured the Pirates. Sadly, it did not
feature Tony Danza.

魔幻大聯盟的原版，是以海盜隊作為主角。
可惜的是，東尼丹薩並不是片中的天使

Houston Astros: Night Game (1989)
The only horror/suspense movie on the list! Roy Scheider plays a police
officer investigating a series of murders that occur when an Astros pitcher
named Silvio Baretto wins a home night game. Spooky!

這是榜單上唯一的恐怖懸疑片！
老牌影星Roy Scheider在片中飾演的警探，負責調查太空人投手Silvio Baretto
（現實上並沒有這個人）在主場贏得比賽時，所發生連環謀殺案，恐怖喔！

Cincinnati Reds: Hustle (2004)
Tom Sizemore played Pete Rose in this 2004 film. Credit has to be given for
finding an actor who has more personal problems than even Pete Rose.

湯姆賽斯摩在這部2004年的電影，飾演大聯盟安打王彼得羅斯
值得一提的是，這位演員私底下的問題居然比羅斯還嚴重

NL West
San Diego Padres: The Kid From Left Field (1979)
Gary Coleman plays the manager of the San Diego Padres, making decisions
based on his father’s (Robert Guillaume) instructions. I used to love this
movie as a little kid, and can remember how upsetting it was to not see
Arnold Jackson or Benson Dubois sitting in the dugout the first time I
watched the Padres play on television.

過世童星蓋瑞柯曼在本片飾演教士隊的總教練，並藉由他父親的指導下戰術
當我還是小孩時，我很愛這部片，也因此永遠記得我第一次看教士球賽轉播時，
沒看到Arnold Jackson 或Benson Dubois（這兩者都是柯曼演出過的角色）
坐在球員休息區，是多麼讓我感到失望！

Arizona Diamondbacks: General Hospital (2009)
Other than the brilliant Nine Innings at Ground Zero (remember, no
documentaries), the D-Backs don’t really have a notable appearance in film.
So, yes, we improvised. Behold, current Oakland A’s outfielder Conor Jackson
who — as a member of the Diamondbacks — appeared on an episode of General
Hospital in 2009.

除了充滿智慧且拍攝精美，記錄響尾蛇隊史唯一冠歷程的Nine Innings at
Ground Zero外（記住，我們不能選紀錄片），蛇隊也從未有在著名電影亮相
的經驗，所以我們只能列出現運動家外野手Conor Jackson，2009還是小蛇
一員時，在肥皂劇General Hospital其中一集的客串演出了

Los Angeles Dodgers: The Jackie Robinson Story (1950)
What makes this film interesting is that it’s a scripted film about Robinson
’s life, but Robinson plays himself. This would be like Mark Zuckerberg
playing himself in The Social Network.

這部片有趣的地方在於，雖然他是用劇情片的方式呈現羅賓森的一生，但飾演者
仍然是羅賓森本人。這感覺就像是讓臉書創辦人左克柏在社群網站扮演自己

San Francisco Giants: The Fan (1996)
台譯烈火終結令
I can still hear Robert De Niro shouting “Bob-bay!” This movie contains one
of the worst baseball scenes ever depicted — something that resembles a
hurricane hits the San Fransisco Bay area, yet the game isn’t delayed. Sure.
But, hey, the World Series champion Giants!

勞勃狄尼洛在片中大喊“Bob-bay!”的場景，至今仍然在我耳裡不停地播放
本片擁有棒球片史上劇本寫得最糟糕的場景－強力颶風襲擊舊金山，
結果球賽依然能照常進行。是很瞎，但這可是去年世界大賽冠軍巨人隊耶！

Colorado Rockies: The Scout (1994)
台譯王牌大聯盟
By far the biggest stretch on this list. Sorry, Rockies fans, but there
really aren’t any films depicting your team. If there is, please share! For
now, you get The Scout. Why? Because when Steve Nebraska is given a workout,
he does so in front of a representative every Major League team — which, in
1994, included the Rockies.

很有可能是目前最讓人摸不著頭緒的名單，但洛磯迷們，
對不起啊，因為真的沒有其他有提到你們球隊的電影了！
（如果有的話，麻煩還跟這位作者聯絡一下）

現在你們只能用這部布蘭登費雪主演的電影充飢一下
至於為何會提到本片呢？因為當主角Steve Nebraska試球時，所有大聯盟球隊
都派代表參加了，其中當然也包括那時剛成立不久的洛磯隊
譯按：其實這也是一部以洋基作為主角的電影，當時的老闆G.史坦布瑞納
甚至還在片中飾演自己呢！
