Jackass star Ryan Dunn was drunk when he crashed his Porsche on a
Pennsylvania highway while going as fast as 140 mph, according to police.

Dunn, 34, died along with his friend Zachary Hartwell, 30, from West Chester,
Pa. Both men suffered "blunt and thermal trauma" in the crash, which turned
Dunn's car into a fireball, according to the autopsy report.

Dunn was driving at twice the legal limit, with authorities saying toxicology
results put his blood alcohol concentration at 0.196 percent, while the legal
state limit is 0.08.

Before the crash, the two men had been in a bar in West Chester; Dunn had
Tweeted a photo of them drinking.

"The initial crash reconstruction investigation determined that Mr. Dunn's
vehicle was traveling between 132-140 mph at the time of the collision," West
Goshen Police Chief Michael Carroll said in a statement

He's standing by his message, but Roger Ebert admits he may have said it too
soon.

Following a Tweet implying that the death of daredevil Ryan Dunn was linked
to drunk driving – "Friends don't let jackasses drink and drive," the film
critic said – Ebert is offering his apologies to Dunn's fans, family and
friends, including Dunn's Jackass costar Bam Margera.

E伯在推特指出Ryan Dunn的死因與酒駕有關，並po出「好朋友就不該讓他的jackasses
酒後開車」這則留言後的隔天，對Dunn的影迷、家人、朋友表達其歉意，這其中也包括

"I have no way of knowing if Ryan Dunn was drunk at the time of his death,"
Ebert, 69, writes on his Chicago Sun-Times blog. "I don't know what happened
in this case, and I was probably too quick to Tweet."

將近70歲的Ebert，在芝加哥太陽時報部落格的最新文章寫道「我完全不知道Ryan

But Ebert was also quick to cite the facts as he heard them when news of the
accident first broke Monday morning, including the police statement that
speed may have have been a contributing factor.

Also killed was Zachary Hartwell, and a photo of Dunn holding a beverage with
two friends earlier in the evening might suggest the Jackass stuntman had
been drinking alcohol.

合照，則暗示這位蠢蛋搞怪秀的班底演員，很有可能在意外發生前喝了酒

"I also regret that my Tweet about the event was considered cruel," Ebert
continues. "It was not intended as cruel. It was intended as true."

對此，Ebert繼續寫道「我也很後悔我在推特對此事件的看法，被認為是殘忍惡毒的。

Dunn's costar and longtime friend Margera was one of those who found Ebert's
words offensive. "I just lost my best friend, I have been crying hysterical
for a full day," he Tweeted in response to Ebert's comments. "Millions of
people are crying right now, shut your fat f–– mouth."

Dunn的節目/電影長期夥伴兼好友Margera，與其他影迷一樣，認為E伯的用語充滿

But Ebert looked to the Viva La Bam star's mother April Margera for further
clarification that his argument wasn't completely unfounded. April, who gave
an interview to NBC, said: "He drove too fast and I yelled at him all the
time about that."

As for the use of the term "jackass" in his post, Ebert's wife Chaz tells
PEOPLE that it was intended not as an insult, but as a nod to the franchise
that brought Dunn to fame.

"Roger and I extend our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Ryan
Dunn and Zachary Hartwell on their tragic deaths," she says. "When Roger used
the word 'jackass' in his Tweet, he was obviously referring to Dunn's
affiliation with the movie, and was not referring to Dunn himself."
