Sam Raimi told Empire magazine that he already has an idea for the villain in
Spider-Man 4.
He said: "I like it in the Marvel comics when Spider-Man fights Morbius...
He's really cool. A vampire! I like that combination of superhero plus
supernatural."

In the comics, Morbius wasn't actually a vampire in the supernatural sense;
instead he was a Nobel-prize winning biochemist who (unwisely) attempted to
cure his rare blood disease with a combination of vampire bats and
electroshock therapy -- giving him "vampiric" characteristics. The character
became an important part of the Marvel universe, doing battle with Spidey,
the Human Torch and the X-Men.

The film is currently at the script-writing stage, with the last news on the
project being that Pulitzer-prize winning author David Lindsey-Abaire had
been signed on to co-write the sequel.

Raimi said way back in October that filming would possibly get under way in
2010, with the director currently putting the finishing touches to horror
Drag Me to Hell.

實際上
如果以超自然的觀點來看
在漫畫裡Morbius並不算是個吸血鬼
他是個得過諾貝爾獎的生物化學家
曾經試圖使用吸血蝙蝠與電擊療法混合的辦法(這裡由於專業知識不足看不太懂...)
來治療自己罕見的血疾
此一不智的舉動賦予了他吸血鬼的特徵
他後來在Marvel的世界裡成為一個很重要的角色，和蜘蛛人、霹靂火、X-men等人作戰過

目前這部電影尚處於劇本撰寫的階段
最新的消息顯示
曾經贏得Pulitzer獎的作家David Lindsey-Abaire也加入了編寫陣容

山姆雷米曾在去年十月表示
由於他目前正忙著為他最新的恐怖片Drag Me to Hell做最後的潤飾
蜘蛛人四的拍攝工作可能會直到2010年才開始動工

推 kao8855:其時感覺拍爛最該怪sony才對 公司干預很多的樣子
好像是這樣吧....

曾經聽說Sam本來就不想把猛毒放在第3集  他認為沒有特色 只是一個能和蜘蛛人成對
比的反派   但SONY當然是以賺錢為目的 猛毒來當噱頭才是最有搞頭的方式...

反正不管怎樣   不要再拍爛就好了...

推 globekiller:第二集我覺得超好看的 為啥同導演第三集可以搞砸=.=
推 SPZ:我相信導演能拍好 只要出資公司不要在腦殘亂干預
推 takuson:第三集的敗點在於反派太多
→ takuson:本來Sam Raimi不打算讓VENOM在第三集現身
→ Makubex82:TDK夠經典 這類電影雖然熱門不斷開拍 但以後難有此佳作
