相關題材包括1959年的第一部傳記電影 Richard Wilson導演 Rod Steiger飾演

1987年鐵面無私The Untouchables裡由勞勃狄尼洛演出該角色 還有疤面煞星Scarface

HBO電視影集Boardwalk Empire等

Tom Hardy Confirmed For Al Capone Biopic


It has been confirmed that Inception star Tom Hardy will be playing the part
of Al Capone in the upcoming movie Cicero.

The movie is set to be directed by Harry Potter director David Yates, and
will be a biopic of the notorious Chicago crime boss, his youth and how he
rose to power.

According to Vulture Blog, Cicero will be the first installment in a
franchise.

The films are set to cover Capone's childhood in New York, his years as a
member of the Five Points Gang and his rise to the top of the Chicago mafia.

The american gangster has been the inspiration of several Hollywood projects
already.

The first biopic appeared in 1959, directed by Richard Wilson and starring
Rod Steiger.

This was followed with The Untouchables in 1987 with Robert De Niro and both
adaptations of Scarface which were based on his life.

A Capone character, played by British actor Stephen Graham, also features in
the HBO drama Boardwalk Empire.

Hardy will also be appearing in Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy and The Dark
Knight Rises alongside Christian Bale as villain Bane.
