Finally! Steven Spielberg’s long-gestating biopic of President Abraham
Lincoln has got a start date — and its star. Two-time Oscar winner
Daniel Day-Lewis will play the man on the five dollar bill in Lincoln,
based on Pulitzer Prize-winning author Doris Kearns Goodwin’s best-selling
biography of Lincoln’s presidency, Team of Rivals. Pulitzer Prize-winning
playwright Tony Kushner (Angels in America) has penned the screenplay,
which in a release DreamWorks said will likely focus on “the political
collision of Lincoln and the powerful men of his cabinet on the road to
abolition and the end of the Civil War”

而且五塊美金上的林肯將會由得過兩次影帝的Daniel Day-Lewis飾演，

而這部影片改編自普立茲獎得主Doris Kearns Goodwin所寫的林肯自傳，

內容係關於林肯的總統生涯。

另一位普立茲獎得主作家Tony Kushner(寫過Angels in America)已經著手寫作劇本。

發行商夢工廠表示這部影片可能會聚焦於林肯在政治上遇到的衝突，

以及在結束南北戰爭和廢除黑奴制度這條偉大道路上所做的艱鉅努力。

沒想到Liam Neeson因為史伯總是沒有確定的開拍日期不斷延後而退出劇組之後，

史伯反而因禍得福找到重新出山的DDL來助拳。

DDL終於重新出山而且演出這種「擺明我就是要拿第三座影帝」的片！

角色及影片政治正確&又是自傳型角色&角色本身深度就很夠=影藝學院最愛的男角色

(如果DDL宣傳肯跑勤一點的話XDDDD)

看來會先從9人中脫穎而出拿到第三座影帝的人不會是Jack或Tom而是DDL！
