買襪子的第一個問題是：要買合成纖維還是羊毛呢？
簡單講若是容易腳冷的人，可能羊毛好；
發汗量極大的，合成纖維佳的機會應較大。

羊毛襪我不熟。不過說到合成纖維的襪子嘛......
強力推薦Ultimax (Wigwam旗下的一個品牌) Cool-lite系列的襪子。
它的特別之處在：所有的細節都處理得很好，
能將汗水往小腿的方向推(by Lumiza acrylic)，
還有最重要的：便宜。
美國泛用襪和登山襪大廠中，最便宜的就是Wigwam啦，大概比其他同等級的
產品便宜25%。
它的品牌分成三個，除了Wigwam外，Ultimax走的是高性能排汗合成纖維，
Ingenius走的是內外襪織成一體。
我不是很喜歡Ingenius的產品，因為它那雙層的設計使腳背處無法織成mesh，
此外，不是內層coolmax外眉cotton，
就是內層polypropylene(註2)外層merino wool。
Ultimax底下的產品可分成兩線，一是用polypropylene，這型我穿過，
排汗效果佳，可是......味道很差。
另一線使用coolmax/thermolite，排汗效果更佳，味道就可接受多了。

上面這個網站是我一一比對Wigwam網站上所有線上商店後，
得到的最佳購買地點
1.一年四季通通八折。產品相當齊，但是沒有最新的Ingenius (I don't care)。
2.有送貨到台灣，運費......10元。不要懷疑，就是10元。
用USPS寄，二週內會到。
買之前你可以寫信問問你要買多少的量，總價多少，他們會回覆你。
我之前只買過一打，第二次買八雙，運費都是十元。
3.為什麼一次買這麼少呢？當然是為了規避3000元的限制。不過兩次買，
盒子上都寫著內容物值10元，非常貼心。萬一被查到的話，關稅是12.5%
(不知有無再降)
4.缺點：同一款式同一大小同顏色至少要買6雙。不過也可以買7, 8等非6的倍數。
所以如果你要的東西台灣有，不妨買一雙試試，再一次大量採購。
也可眾人合買。
Wigwam在台灣是偉盟代理的，訂價......實在是買不下去。
產品線也不齊。

比方說Thorlo的絕招似乎就只有padding而已。
Fox River和bridgedale就精緻多了，可是這兩個牌子比Wigwam貴多了。
