How is windproofness measured?
The most common method is called the Fraser-o-meter or Fraser Air
Permeability Test. This measures the number of cubic feet of air
that can pass thru a square foot of fabric in one minute at a pressure
differential equal to 30 miles per hour wind speed. The results are
given in cfm – cubic feet per minute.
稍微翻譯一下, 就是我們最常用的測量防風的方法, 就是Fraser-o-meter法,
在一塊一平方呎的測量物體兩邊, 給予相當於每小時30英哩風速的氣壓差,
然後測量通過這塊測量材料的空氣量有多少, 單位是 立方英呎/分鐘 .
