1.A uniform rod of length L and mass M is free to rotate about
a frictionless pivot at one end. The rod is released from rest
in the horizontal position. What are the initial angular
acceleration of the rod and the initial linear acceleration
of the right end of the rod?
2.(a)A uniform solid disk of radius R and mass M is free to rotate
on a frictionless pivot througt a point on its rim.If the disk is
released from rest in the position what is the speed of its center
mass when the disk reaches the position indicated by the dashed
circle?(b) What is the speed of the lowest point on the disk in the
dashed position?(c) Repeat question (a) using uniform hoop.
