Placebo singles collection
Placebo are pleased to announce that on 18 October they will
release a collection of their singles-to-date.
The collection will bring together all the singles the band
has released over the past eight years from their four albums
to date: Placebo, Without You I'm Nothing, Black Market Music
and Sleeping With Ghosts. It will also feature two new tracks,
one of which will be released as a single on 4 October (more
details to follow next month).
Placebo have sold near-on a million albums in the UK and 4.5
million albums worldwide, with 1.3 million of those sales being
from last year's Sleeping With Ghosts, which was celebrated
with the recent release of the Soulmates Never Die- Live in
Paris 2003.
The band are currently finishing off a hugely successful
European tour which will culminate with performances at
Reading and Leeds Festival, on 29th and 27th August, respectively.
