Until dream takes her body

While footlights flare and houselights dim
雨聲啊嘛呢叭咪胡言亂語 [4]
Abracadabra of the rain
龍葵與蕁麻叢生與小徑相糾紛 [5]
Nightshade and nettles tangle the track
還嘲笑星星破碎後化成了刺耳的雨 [6]
And mock the jangling rain of splintered stars
而我，像那群凡夫俗子，掙不脫
終將一死的及物動詞 [7]
And I, like the children, caught
In the mortal active verb
如栓塞在籠中的壞脾氣的長尾小鸚鵡
困在精巧的玻璃雕塑例行公事 [8]
Like petulant parakeets corked up in cages
Of intricate spunglass routine

The fiendish butler saunters in and serves

I’m through with this grand looking-glass hotel
Where adjectives play croquet with flamingo nouns
蛇如尖塔般豎立在明暗反差之下
玷汙了創世紀的廣角鏡頭 [14]
Steepling snake in that contrary light
Invades the dilate lens of genesis
空氣變成玻璃然後整個天空
變得易碎如一隻傾倒的瓷碗 [15]
Air alters into glass and the whole sky
Grows brittle as a tilted china bowl
一道孤寂的拍案巨浪蹲據在
如萬花筒的貝殼殘骸間 [16]
A lone beachcomber squats among the wrack
Of kaleidoscope shells
我已沒什麼好說的了
彩色的帳棚全倒塌在海灣上 [17]
There is nothing more for me to say
The colored tenst all topple in the bay
投擲無遮攔的世界如擲一顆青綠的球
丟回大浩劫裡面去 [18]
Then hurl the bare world like a bluegreen ball
Back into the holocaust
就在此時愛開始噬咬
像浮士德中的魔鬼般譏諷著 [19]
While the gnawings of love begin
Mocking as Mephistopheles
以荊棘冠般扎人的記憶 [20]
With recollection’s ticking thorns
在橢圓軌道上隨著太陽系的速度轉 [21]
Revolving in oval loops of solar speed
優雅的不死巨蛇許諾將極樂
賜給渴望歡娛的凡夫俗子 [22]
The suave eternal serpents promise bliss
To mortal children longing to be gay
正因致命的秘密被偵知時才會害人 [23]
For deadly secrets strike when understood
快跟我說，親愛的，現在就告訴我 [24]
Tell me quick, darling, tell me now
