吾乃帕帝拉闍瓦尼
得諸神之眷顧者
只此一位。
吾乃帕帝拉闍瓦尼
受大海侵潤
流著海洋之血統
吾乃帕帝拉闍瓦尼
誕生之時
神靈獻上槳與舢板
吾乃帕帝拉闍瓦尼，守護著遍野的荳蔻。
吾乃海濱之火。無論誰靠近此處
都要敬誦吾之名號三次。
在安靜的夜晚紅藻跳著舞
隨著吾之摩鹿加小鼓，
荳蔻樹，少女的身體變得
生氣勃勃通宵達旦
來跳舞！
來歡樂！
來忘憂！
放亮眼睛可別惹吾生氣
吾可令荳蔻枯槁、少女僵死
吾可號令諸神！
吾在夜晚，吾在白晝
在紅藻搖曳的節奏與燒光島嶼的大火……

Tjuma satu.

Kikisan laut.
Berdarah laut.

Ketika lahir dibawakan
Datu dajung sampan.
Beta Pattiradjawane, mendjaga hutan pala.
Beta api dipantai. Siapa mendekat
Tiga kali menjebut punja nama.
Dalam sunji malam ganggang menari
Menurut beta punja tifa,
Pohon pala, badan perawan djadi
Hidup sampai pagi tiba.
Mari menar!
mari beria!
mari berlupa!
Awas djangan bikin beta marah
Beta bikin pala mati, gadis kaku
Beta kirim datu-datu!
Beta ada dimalam, ada disiang
Irama ganggang dan api membakar pulau……

Whom the gods watch over
I alone.
I am Pattiradjawane
Foam of the sea.
The sea is my blood.
I am Pattiradjawane
When I was born
The gods brought me an oar.
I am Pattiradjawane, guarding the nutmeg groves.
I am fire on the shore. Whoever comes near
Must call my name three times.
In the night-time quiet, seaweed dances
To the sound of my drum,
Nutmeg trees become maidens’ bodies
And live till dawn.
Dance!
Be happy!
Forget everything!
But take care not to make me angry
I’ll kill the nut trees, stiffen the maidens
I’ll bring down the gods!
I’m in the night, in the day,
In the rhythm of the seaweed and in the fire that roasts the island……
I am Pattiradjawane
