~ a fragment of a dream ~
Like the illusion appeared once,
you sat behind me when I rode
in the windy street; the whole landscape
was dusky, and veiled in grey,
while the rain drifted down in a gloomy way.
"Bored, with him." you said.
I could not remember if it was how
you related with the word, "Pelloid".
We stopped by the terrace, where there was a parking lot.
I went to find a slot to rest the vehicle,
since we meant to, then, go down beneath the terrace.
Yet I had difficulty shutting the cover
as you, wearing the blue raincoat,
peeped from behind the rear mirrors.
I was sweating in the rain -- all wet.
Then you came to help, and the job was soon done,
although the cushion was already damaged.
I could smell the acrid gasoline
and I was afraid that it might explode
when we went down beneath the terrace.
