She's a flirting faerie, a mischievous mermaid,
dancing among leaves and thorns, chuckling around waterfront,
flashing with glimpses, yet disappearing within slight snappings.
You can find her anywhere, for she picks no stage to perform.
You may see her in any shape, since she chooses no clothing as her form.
You must have seen her before -- in a tuilip's petal,
in the surging of the streets, in the bowl of a beggar, in the receding tide,
in the frying pan that salt bustles, or in the castle built by letters --
she's ubiquitous.
You might have noticed her, and been annoyed, yet found no way to employ
or anything to decoy.
Here I've got an awesome skill, which I learnt from a clever writer.
He told me that you've got to get a quill,
or a pen if it's unavailable.
But bear in mind that you grab the tool
once you see her, because she is unable
to escape from the landscape
between your tool and a simple piece of paper.
