A Paradox is a combination of two seemingly
contradictory ideas or things that is true in some sense.
The best known example may be the Tao symbol "Ying-Yang,"
which summarizes the universal binary oppositions such as
life and death, good and evil, day and night, light and
darkness, etc. Another example can be seen in the opening
line of Theodore Roethke's famous poem "The Waking":
"I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow."
