The brief biographies included in this section are derived from
the biographical sketches the Norton Anthology of Poetry offers,
because they are simply so succinct, and right to the point; and
I think it is unwise for me, such an amateur, to do it myself.

(2007.03.08) As for those poets whose bios cannot be found in the
Anthology, which rather excludes poets from non-English-speaking
countries, I try to provide websites that offers their bios, or
adopt passages from elsewhere.
