Did Not

短評：

在這首工整流麗的情詩中，作者以三個詩節分別描寫男女是愛的三種漸進行為
--眉目傳情、接吻、和熱情擁抱。在每節第三行均分別以 "hid not," "chid
not," 和 "gently bid not" 表示對對方難抑的愛意。雖然如此，每節末了卻
以 "did not" 結束，似乎表示戀人雖熱情如火，卻仍受制於禮教，不敢做出
不合時宜的事。但讀到最後，究竟所謂犯錯一事是有還是沒有，卻語焉不詳，
耐人尋味。
